COVID-19 lockdown was a blessing in disguise, as it allowed the people to stay back at home and take a little pause from their busy life. The lockdown period saw the rerun of superhit mythological show, Ramayana, the show was aired twice a day and got the audience nostalgic. After the rerun of the show, the show’s key characters Lord Ram played by Arun Govil, Goddess Sita portrayed by Dipika Chikhlia and Laxman played by Sunil Lahri remained in the news.

Dipika Chikhlia taking to her Instagram account shared pictures of her daughter’s wedding that took place last year. The pictures were totally mesmerizing, catching our attention is Dipika’s maang tikka. The maang tikka she accessorized her look with at her daughter’s wedding reminded us of her onscreen character from the mythological show. The senior actress was seen in a red and purple saree and wore some exquisite pieces of jewellery, looking beautiful. The maang tikka she sported at the wedding is close to the maang tikka, she wore when she played Sita in the mythological show. The picture shared by the actress has her family with a newly wedded couple.The

The actress in conversation with Zoom Digital shared how she remained fit for the onscreen role of Sita, she said, “During the initial days, it was about how to get into the role. How not to look extra made up and look like a certain character. The challenges came up when we finished the shoot and came in society. How to behave in public? How to go about? Taking up certain kinds of work. I had done a lot of ads so I had to take up ads in which I had only worn a saree.
